Insurance is LAME.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and talked about the LAPBAND stuff, and what we needed to send, and he surprised me and said he had already sent it in Friday when I called to set up the appointment. So he sent what we think we need to send to the insurance. I hope its right, but if its not we'll just try again and send whatever they need. I know I am the perfect candidate and meet all the requirements, its just phrasing it right is what they're looking for. Insurance is ridiculous.

I called then insurance this morning, but apparently youre not allowed to speak with the medical review board, that they contact you. I was like OK....... LOL. Weird. They really are not helpful whatsoever. I was asking about the deductible and how much was covered. The lady was like oh, well you need to be approved first. I was like yea, I know I submitted all that. I was just wondering what I would need to pay, so I can start saving and getting stuff together. GEEEEEZ. Yea, so insurance is annoying. I was reading other peoples insurance stuff on LapbandTalk, and every case is so different, but I wish BCBS was just the same all over, cause it can be very confusing.. reading on BCBS story and then another and they are completely different. I just dont get it at all.

Well theres nothing else to say, unless I get more info from insurance, but that is not likely. I bet they say I'm not a good candidate and I dont have what they need and deny me the surgery, which would really really suck. I have my heart set on it.
